Before you submit your first wholesale packaging purchase order, run this ops checklist—measure jewelry, pick formats and SKUs, read pack counts, sample when needed, then confirm imprint and ship-to. Pre-order checklist (complete in order)
1) Measure the jewelry
Record longest dimension and height for rings, chains, earrings, and bracelets. Use the Jewelry Packaging Size Guide plus PDP Size options—do not guess fit from photos alone.
2) Decide format & material ladder
- Format: Jewelry Pouches vs Boxes
- Materials feel: Jewelry Packaging Materials Guide (cardboard → velvet → wood → prestige)

3) Draft the first SKU list (line items)
- Hero inner (box or pouch)
- Outer (mailer and/or shopping bag)
- Optional add-on (polishing cloth / tissue)
Example starters: Kraft Mailers Boxes, String Microfiber Pouch, Crafted Elegance Cardboard Boxes, Shine Wipe Polishing Cloths. Prefer one hero finish over five unfinished experiments.
4) Check pack counts on each PDP
Note “pcs per pack” on product pages before quantity math. Do not invent a site-wide case-pack.
5) Sample / proof when needed
Follow Sampling & Proofing for what varies by SKU. No site-wide free-sample claim on this page.
6) Imprint path (only if branding on order 1)

7) Ship-to & reorder notes
